Re: round vs square stay ends

I know what you are saying re chainsaws - use a chisel - quicker and leaves a better finish - bear in mind also guys - the standard we are working to is a tried and true method and is for the longetivity of the fence. Square has been well tested and is the proven standard for stays....if we are to ensure we are all working to the set standard we need to look at what has been proven - surely?

Re: round vs square stay ends

i find the round drill good on using concret stays on wooden strainers and angles , nice and clean look and think it works better from a construction point of view
